Achords Ukulele Group

This group of senior citizens bring us the sound of sunshine with their ukuleles. Featuring ANZAC music as part of a Variety Show.

They first started playing together as a group at Selwyn Village in Herd Road, Hillsborough (now Metlifecare) about 10 years ago. They meet every Wednesday morning for practice usually followed by coffee. With about 18 members - they come from outside the village as far away as St Heliers and Titirangi.

During the year they visit care homes and retirement villages to entertain the residents and spread "sunshine" into the lives of older people in various stages of aging and health. We welcome them to Pah Homestead for Music at Midday!

Music at Midday returns to Pah Homestead with an hour of free live music from 12 to 1pm each Saturday.

Auckland is rich with a diverse range of creative musical talent and we celebrate this every week.  Sit down in the drawing room to enjoy the live music, or peruse the galleries while you listen to the music drifting through the building.
